CJ's Swim Club employs the services of the Clem Jones Centre's squad coaches, Head Coach Brian Glass and Assistant Coach Joshua Scibilia. Both coaches were brought to the centre in 2016 after working with the Iona College Swimming Team and Acacia Bayside Swimming Club.

Head Coach - Brian Glass

In 2016 Brian Glass returned to the Clem Jones Centre as the Head Coach after seven years coaching at Iona College and Acacia Bayside Swimming Club. During this time Brian was able to coach all different levels of swimmers, from age groupers all the way through to National Champions. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Brian's focus is not just on his senior squad consisting of many state, national and international swimmers, but also on the development of the next generation of CJ's swimmers.

Major Highlight - In 2019 Brian coached his first athlete onto the Australian Dolphins team, Jake Michel, who competed in the World Championships, achieving 4th place in the 100 metre Breaststroke. Brian and Jake now have their sights firmly set on the delayed 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.

Assistant Coach - Joshua Scibilia
(Bronze License Coach)
Joshua Scibilia is a former swimmer in Brian's program at Iona College, where he competed at numerous Age and Open National Championships in Freestyle and Breaststroke. In 2014 Josh became the Assistant Coach under Brian at Iona College, where the pair were able to bring a Junior AIC Championship to the school in both 2015 and 2016. Now with 6 years coaching experience, Josh has completed his Teaching of Competitive Strokes and Bronze Coaching courses and like Brian thoroughly enjoys the development of younger athletes at the swimming club.

Major Highlight - During Josh's 2013/14 season he was a top 20 finisher at the QLD State Championships in the Open Men's 50 metre Freestyle, and also competed in the 50 metre Freestyle and 50 metre Breaststroke at the 2014 Australian Commonwealth Games trials held in Brisbane.
