Club History
Carina Leagues CJ's Swimming Club is one of the more established
swimming clubs in Brisbane with a long and distinctive history. The Club was originally established in 1964, a year after the 50 metre pool was built at the Clem Jones Centre.
CJ's in an acronym "Carina Jets". Now, with the wonderful and generous sponsorship from the Carina Leagues Club, we proudly
call ourselves the Carina Leagues CJ's Swimming Club.
We are a friendly, family orientated club that provides Competitive swimming opportunities for members 8 years+ at Club, Regional, State, National and International levels. Some of our more noted former members have been Mitch Larkin and Kerryn McMaster. CJ's Swim Club has had, and continues to have, elite State, National and International swimmers.
Carina Leagues CJ's Swimming Club has always, and will continue, to promote and support its ideals as an affordable and family orientated club.
